Louis Vuitton and Singer Vehicle Design have collaborated to unveil two exclusive, one-off Porsche 911 restomods based on the 964 generation. Debuted at Pebble Beach during Monterey Car Week, the project represents the first fully co-branded automotive venture for both companies. The collaboration, which took approximately one year to develop, centers on the concept of the ‘Art of Travel’. ~~A key technical feature is~~ The partnership originated from a request to create a bespoke dashboard clock, produced by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton in Switzerland. This specialized ~~timepiece~~ timepiece, inspired by the Louis Vuitton Tambour, ~~which~~ is integrated into the dashboard and can be removed to function as a standalone desktop clock. The two vehicles include a Singer Classic coupe featuring a saffron, cobalt blue, and yellow carbon-fiber body with a 4.0-liter engine, and a Classic Turbo cabriolet with an ivory-white finish and 3.8-liter twin-turbo engine. The ~~project~~ Classic Turbo cabriolet was designed by Nicolas Ghesquière and features precious wood trim inspired by vintage motorboats. Interior details include cobalt blue backgrounds, orange accents, and hand-finished metal components. The coupe also includes a custom roof rack designed to carry exclusive luggage, skis, or surfboards. Beyond the vehicles, the project utilizes Louis Vuitton’s VVT leather and ‘malletage’ diamond-pattern embossing.
