LPBank Securities (LPBS) has rebranded as LP Securities (LPS) following its listing on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) in mid-2026. The company completed an IPO of 141.86 million shares, raising over 4,256 billion VND to increase its charter capital and fund operations such as margin lending and IT infrastructure. Following the rebranding and listing, LPS announced plans for its first private bond issuance of 2026, aiming to raise 1,000 billion VND from professional institutional investors. This move follows a period of significant financial growth, with the company reporting substantial increases in operating revenue and profit during the first half of 2026. On September 8, 2026, LPS shares experienced a sharp recovery, hitting the daily ceiling price of 24,550 VND per share amid high liquidity. This surge follows a period of decline from its initial HoSE listing reference price of 30,000 VND. The price spike significantly increased the market value of holdings belonging to the two children of Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy, Nguyen Ngoc My Anh and Nguyen Xuan Thai. Each holds 190.02 million LPS shares, representing approximately 13.49% of the company's capital. During the first two hours of the trading session, the market value of their combined holdings rose by more than 600 billion VND.
