LS ELECTRIC has secured significant contracts to provide power distribution equipment for data center projects in the United States. In mid-October 2026, the company signed a deal with Bloom Energy valued at approximately $138.46 million to supply switchgear and distribution transformers for a fuel cell-based power generation project in Pennsylvania. This agreement brought LS ELECTRIC’s cumulative orders from Bloom Energy to over $500 million within an 18-month period. Shortly thereafter, LS ELECTRIC entered into a long-term supply agreement worth approximately 168.9 billion won ($125.23 million) with a major U.S. big tech company. This contract focuses on providing 38kV high-voltage switchgear for North American data centers for the 2027-2028 period. To meet the high reliability demands of AI data centers, the company is also discussing the supply of additional high-end equipment, such as low-voltage switchgear and Ring Main Units (RMU). By late October 2026, LS ELECTRIC reported record third-quarter results, driven by high-value projects and strong North American performance. The company achieved revenue of 1.8778 trillion won and an operating profit of 233.5 billion won, representing a 131.7% increase in profit compared to the previous year. This milestone marked 100 consecutive quarters of operating profit for the company. Growth was specifically fueled by a 106% increase in ultra-high voltage transformer revenue. To support these North American operations, LS ELECTRIC is utilizing a localized value chain involving its facilities in Utah and Texas for sales, design, production, and service.
