Disney initially announced that the historic Diamond Horseshoe restaurant in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland would reopen as a limited-time pop-up venue. This dining experience was intended to feature small plates, such as charcuterie boards with cured beef and smoked pork, alongside specialty drinks like the ‘Cactus Rose Margarita’. Following this announcement, Disney confirmed an opening date of October 4, with reservations opening on September 29. The finalized menu for the Liberty Square location includes frontier-themed items such as glazed sticky ribs with cowboy beans, queso fundido with barbecue burnt ends, and chipotle chicken tostadas. Beverage offerings were expanded to include cocktails like the ‘High Plains Huckleberry’ and ‘Coal’d Fashioned’, as well as non-alcoholic options like caramel root beer. Recent updates clarify that the restaurant has been without traditional table-service dining since May 16, 2026, following its temporary conversion into ‘Jessie’s Roundup’ for the ‘Cool Kids’ Summer’ event. The pop-up is scheduled to follow the conclusion of the Jessie’s Roundup activation on September 8.
