Magnolia Campobasso began their preseason preparations with a 61-51 victory over Panthers Roseto. The team established an early lead through strong three-point shooting, and despite a mid-game surge by Roseto, Campobasso maintained control to secure their third consecutive preseason win. Following this scrimmage, the team prepared to compete in the eighth edition of the ‘Campobasso per lo sport’ quadrangular tournament. This event, held at the Arena, serves as the team’s only preseason appearance before their home fans. The tournament includes matchups against Battipaglia, Roseto, and Napoli Women. Coach Mimmo Sabatelli indicated the team might not be at full strength due to physical fatigue and fitness concerns regarding player Simon, noting the weekend would be used to evaluate progress and test lineup combinations. During the ‘Campobasso per lo sport’ tournament, Magnolia Campobasso secured a 76-49 win against Battipaglia.
