Major summits scheduled for Mumbai in 2026

Mumbai is scheduled to host several major international summits in late 2026 focusing on economic, technological, and financial sectors. In November 2026, the city will host the Women’s Forum Global Meeting. This marks the first time the summit will be held outside of France and is part of the 2026 France-India Year of Innovation. The event aims to bring together policymakers and business leaders to discuss inclusive economic growth, entrepreneurship, and the impact of artificial intelligence. Other significant events include the Unchained Summit on November 5–6, 2026, which will make its debut in India. The summit aims to convene leaders from the blockchain, Web3, and financial market sectors, with a speaker lineup including representatives from Binance, CoinSwitch, Coinbase, and the Bharat Web3 Association. The event will address regulation, market development, and asset tokenization. Additionally, the fifth edition of Money Expo India, described as the country’s “largest online trading and investment expo,” is scheduled for August 29–30, 2026, at the Jio World Convention Centre. The expo will feature over 120 exhibitors and 100 speakers focusing on India’s trading, investment, and financial technology ecosystem. The event arrives amid a shifting financial landscape, following reports from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in April 2026 of 130 million unique registered investors. Discussions will cover how digital platforms and emerging fintech are changing market access for domestic participants and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).
