Malatya Chamber of Commerce business support initiatives
Overview
The Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO) has announced several initiatives aimed at supporting local businesses and enhancing their competitiveness.
Chairman Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu first announced plans to establish an European Union (EU) Information Center. This center is designed to assist local businesses in accessing EU funds, grants, and support mechanisms, particularly as approximately 50 percent of Malatya’s exports are currently directed toward EU countries.
Following this, the MTSO announced the creation of an ‘E-Commerce Academy’. This initiative focuses on digital transformation by providing training in digital store management, marketing, and sales. The academy intends to integrate technologies such as artificial intelligence into production planning, stock management, and customer relations. Furthermore, the program will address financial literacy to help small and medium-sized enterprises optimize workflows and better present financial structures when seeking banking services and financing.
