In July 2026 the university’s Continuing Education and Research Center opened registration for a four‑day high‑school medical science camp, offering laboratory work, clinical simulations and a certificate through e‑Devlet. The camp was presented as a way for prospective medical students to experience university life and received positive feedback from its inaugural 2025 edition. A few weeks later, in early August 2026, the university was awarded a Corporate Accreditation Certificate by the Higher Education Quality Board. The rector highlighted the school’s high national ranking for faculty project output and its standing among Turkish institutions for student‑led research. Concurrently, the university hosted a student recruitment fair at a local mall, promoting its project‑driven approach, modern facilities, internship opportunities, and the launch of a new AI Engineering master’s programme. Continuing its outreach, Malatya Turgut Özal University organized a three‑day Preference and Promotion Fair at Malatya Park AVM in early August. Rector Prof. Dr. Recep Bentli met candidates and families, showcased academic programmes, laboratories, internships and project opportunities, and encouraged prospective students to consider the university.
