The state offered a tiered cash reward that rises from cash‑reward scheme for gold‑medal winners: RM4,000 per gold for up to 39 golds, to RM6,000 for 40‑49, RM8,000 for 50‑59, and RM10,000 per gold if once the 60‑gold goal is met or exceeded.
