Italian singer-songwriter Malika Ayane has announced and released her new album, ‘Cicale’, marking her first major studio project in five years. Released via Carosello Records, Records on September 18, the album is the result of four years of songwriting and one year of production. Ayane described the title ‘Cicale’ (Cicada) as a metaphor for the time spent ‘underground’ during the creative process before emerging. The project consists of features ten songs selected from approximately one hundred written during this period, developed without songs, including the intention of following market trends. Sanremo track ‘animali notturni’ and the summer single ‘una possibilità’. The album includes collaborations with artists such as Pacifico and Dargen D’Amico. To support the release, Ayane is conducting an instore tour across several Italian cities, including Milan, Rome, Genoa, and Catania, throughout cities. As part of these celebrations, she is scheduled to hold an album signing event at Gran Shopping Molfetta on September and October, with 22. Participation in the signing requires fans to possess a copy of ‘Cicale’ in CD or vinyl format. A live theater tour is scheduled to begin in November. November, with a performance in Bitritto confirmed for November 16.
