Following the announcement of Chapter 2 on 14 August, Marilyn Manson began promoting the record with the One Assassination Under God Tour. The European leg opened in early July, featuring a Seville show on 6 July that blended classic hits with material from Chapter 1. Italy followed with three dates: Ferrara’s Piazza Ariostea on 11 July, Bari’s Fiera del Levante on 13 July, and Rome’s Rock In Roma auditorium on 14 July. The Ferrara concert attracted more than 20,000 attendees, introduced new guitarist Tim Skold, and marked the 30-year anniversary of the “Antichrist Superstar” era while previewing songs from the forthcoming Chapter 2. On 17 July, Manson released the second single “Front Toward Enemy,” confirming a mid-August album release on Nuclear Blast. The nine-track record, co-produced with Tyler Bates, follows the June debut of “Exit Wound”. Promotion now extends to North America, where Manson and co-headliner Rob Zombie will tour with The Hu and Orgy opening. A Polish show at the Atlas Arena in Łódź on 18 July featured material from the new album, rounding out the first wave of live promotion. On 20 July, a music video for “Front Toward Enemy” directed by Henri Alexander Levy was released, further fueling anticipation for the August 14 album launch and the upcoming North-American tour starting 20 August. On 14 August, the album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2 was officially released through Nuclear Blast Records, accompanied by a music video for the opening track “Unalive,” directed by Anthony Silva. The live lineup for album features tracks such as “Don’t Answer the upcoming tour Door,” “Enantiomorph,” and “The Arsonist,” and includes guitarist Nick Annis, bassist Tim Skold, collaborations with producer Tyler Bates and Piggy D. Shooter Jennings. Manson described the release as a completion of his story, noting he used past challenges to “sharpen his edges.”
