Alina Habba, a former advisor and personal attorney to Donald ~~Trump,~~ Trump and former acting U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, married Turhan Mildon, the 29-year-old CEO of the Turkish conglomerate Miller Holding, in a ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. The wedding, which was reportedly planned in only three months, featured a reception in the hotel’s Grand Ballroom decorated with approximately 900,000 fresh flowers, including cherry blossoms and red roses. Costs for the venue, music, and floral arrangements were estimated to be between $1 million and $10 million. The festivities included a 30-piece band, a performance by the singer Nelly, and a first dance to ‘Hier Encore’ by a singer flown in from France. Individual servings of caviar were provided for guests, and Habba, 42, reportedly wore three different gowns during the event. While Donald Trump did not attend due to a scheduled appearance in Knoxville, Tennessee, for a college football game, the guest list included several figures associated with the Trump administration, such as FBI Director Kash Patel, Attorney General Todd Blanche, and communications adviser Margo Martin. Heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson was also in attendance. Mildon’s business interests span energy, construction, and mining. He has also reportedly maintained ties with political leaders in Venezuela and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Despite the high-profile nature of the event, Mildon has stated that the relationship ‘serves no political purpose.’ The couple had reportedly been seen together publicly since April.
