Marriage plans of Andre Taulany and Amanda Rigby

Reports indicate that Indonesian comedian Andre Taulany and actress Amanda Rigby are planning to marry. The news emerged following a marriage recommendation submitted through the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ SIMKAH Gen 4 management system from the Ciputat Timur Religious Affairs Office (KUA) to the Kebayoran Baru KUA.

While the initial reports noted that the Kebayoran Baru office was awaiting physical documents to proceed with verification, Taulany has since commented on the relationship, citing Rigby’s gentle and kind character and her positive relationship with his children as key factors in his decision. Because Rigby holds British citizenship, the marriage process requires additional documentation from the embassy to facilitate the legal requirements.

Rigby, an Indonesian-British actress and presenter, has been a prominent figure in the Indonesian entertainment industry since 2009, with educational background from the London School of Public Relations in Jakarta and Raffles College of Higher Education in Singapore.

As the administrative process continues, neither party has issued an official public announcement regarding the wedding. The news has also prompted renewed social media discussion regarding Taulany’s past, specifically involving resurfaced statements from his ex-wife, Erin, concerning their previous marriage and the challenges faced during their separation.
