Polish artist Marta ‘Mandaryna’ Wiśniewska announced her upcoming participation in the television show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (Taniec z Gwiazdami). While discussing her return to dance, she noted that ballroom dancing would present a new challenge compared to her background in hip-hop, stating, “I don't know yet what level I am at, because we haven't started training.”

Following this announcement, Wiśniewska began training sessions in Warsaw with her professional partner, Krystian Rzymkiewicz. Reports indicated the pair was working to build chemistry during filming sessions at Górczewska Park. Her former husband, Michał Wiśniewski, commented on the intense nature of the competition and the close working relationship required between partners.

As the 19th edition of the Polsat competition approaches its September 13 premiere, Wiśniewska is officially paired with Rzymkiewicz, a former winner of ‘You Can Dance’. Due to her extensive experience as a dancer and choreographer for the band Ich Troje, bookmakers have already identified her as a favorite.

Her participation coincides with significant public interest regarding her personal life, specifically reports of a reconciliation with Michał Wiśniewski after more than 20 years apart. While the couple has reportedly rekindled their relationship, they appear to be maintaining privacy regarding their romantic life during the show. Despite her professional background, reports suggest the transition from hip-hop to ballroom dancing continues to present technical challenges during training.
