Maruti Suzuki is extending its SUV lineup with the XL7 facelift unveiled at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. The three‑row model is offered in New Zeta, New Beta Hybrid and New Alpha Hybrid trims, all powered by the 1.5‑L K15B Smart Hybrid Vehicle System. Exterior updates include a larger front grille, LED fog lamps, new 16‑inch alloy wheels, a rear combination lamp with black accents and a shark‑fin antenna. Inside, a 9‑inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto sits behind a metallic Hagane dark‑silver instrument panel, while safety gains feature six airbags, ESC, hill‑hold assist, a 360‑degree camera, TPMS and a 1.5K‑resolution digital video recorder (DVR) that connects to smartphones. A CNG‑powered version claims 26.23 km per kilogram of fuel. Suzuki Indonesia Motor (SIM) confirmed that production will continue at its Cikarang plant for both domestic sales and export, with plans to market the vehicle in Thailand later in the year. Suzuki projects the XL7 can capture about 20 % of Indonesia’s three‑row LSUV segment and set a sales target of 2,200 units for the product line during the show. The model also serves as a preview for the India‑bound Maruti Suzuki XL6 facelift expected later in the year. Additional incentives include free service and parts for up to 2.5 years or 50,000 ~~km, with routine maintenance covered for automatic‑transmission variants up to 30,000~~ km, underscoring Suzuki’s focus on low ownership costs while aiming for a 2.8 million‑unit SUV programme by FY 2027 across Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America.
