Marvel Studios has officially announced the cast for its upcoming X-Men reboot, directed by Jake Schreier. The project, which entered pre-production in August 2025 with a screenplay being rewritten by Lee Sung-Jin and Joanna Calo, is slated for a release following ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. Confirmed cast members include Kit Connor as Scott Summers/Cyclops, following a summer-long casting process, and Sadie Sink as Jean Grey. Samara Weaving is confirmed as the telepathic Emma Frost. The ensemble also features Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, and Maya Boyd as Storm. Adam Driver has been cast to portray the antagonist Mr. Sinister (Nathaniel Milbury). While earlier rumors suggested Asa Germann might play Warren Worthington III/Angel, and unverified social media claims linked Jayme Lawson to the role of Storm, the official lineup has since been established. Recent updates indicate that Kit Connor has begun physical preparation for his role alongside personal trainer Mark Humphreyes. Director Jake Schreier has noted that the production is drawing inspiration from various comic book runs, including those by Chris Claremont.
