Italian singer Max Pezzali is launching several projects celebrating his musical legacy. On September 22, Pezzali announced the October 30 release of his new album, ‘Max Forever Vol. 2 – L’album’. The project includes unreleased versions of famous songs, live recordings, archival material, and two new tracks. On October 2, Pezzali released the new single ‘Le_Ali’, which serves as part of the soundtrack for the second season of the Sky Original series ‘Nord Sud Ovest Est – La leggendaria storia degli 883’, directed by Sydney Sibilia. The song is described as a deeply autobiographical work exploring themes of change, memory, and the transition from adolescence to adulthood. It specifically reflects on the relationship between Pezzali and Mauro Repetto, using the metaphor of ‘wings’ to represent the freedom to move past fears and embrace new life phases. The series is set to premiere on October 9. To coincide with the series premiere, an immersive experience will be held in Milan at Pelota in Brera on October 3 and 4. This free event features interactive installations inspired by the 1990s and the history of the band 883. Additionally, Pezzali’s 2013 autobiography, ‘I Cowboy Non Mollano Mai’, is being re-released in bookstores. Due to high demand and sold-out shows, Pezzali has expanded his ‘Max Forever – Stessa Storia Stesso Posto Stesso Bar’ indoor tour. The tour, which features large-scale production with giant LED walls to revisit Organized by Vivo Concerti, the 883 era and his solo career, tour is now scheduled to run through April 2027. New dates have been added include performances at the Palazzo dello Sport in major cities including Rome, Bologna, Florence, Rome (January 14, 26 and Turin. April 24, 25), Unipol Arena in Bologna (February 5), Mandela Forum in Florence (February 24 and March 2, 3), and Inalpi Arena in Turin (March 8).
