Mazda vehicles are being featured in upcoming racing simulation updates. In August 2026, Mazda unveiled the RX-Vision GT3 Evo, an aerodynamic evolution of its digital racing concept, which is scheduled for inclusion in Gran Turismo 7 by the end of the year. Concurrently, Kunos Simulazioni announced that has released the V0.9 update for Assetto Corsa EVO will include EVO. This significant patch for the Early Access title introduces the Mazda RX-7 FD Spirit R (Type A), a highly anticipated rotary-powered model, alongside new the Audi vehicles. R8 LMS GT2 and the Audi R8 V10 Performance quattro. Beyond new vehicle content, the V0.9 update implements mandatory pit stops in multiplayer servers to require management of fuel and tire wear. The update also introduces ‘Special Events,’ enabling drivers to compete under identical environmental conditions with global leaderboards for hotlap and hotstint modes. Technical improvements were also included to address vehicle physics, tire models, rendering, and general stability.
