McLaren has unveiled the McL 6GT, a concept supercar prototype presented during Monterey Car Week. The vehicle serves as a tribute to the M6GT project envisioned by founder Bruce McLaren in the 1960s. A primary feature of the concept is the inclusion of a manual transmission, which marks the brand’s first manual gearbox in a road car since the McLaren F1 in 1992. McLaren has indicated that a production version of the McL 6GT is expected to arrive in 2028.
