Following the summer sales and back-to-school transitions in late August, retailers in Spain continued their promotional activities into September. In late August, Amazon featured household items such as the Ninja CRISPi Pro XL air fryer and Rowenta upholstery cleaners, while El Corte Inglés held final summer sales on beauty and fashion products. By early September, the focus shifted toward consumer electronics, with El Corte Inglés launching television promotions offering up to 40% off Samsung and TCL models. By mid-September, the retailer maintained significant price reductions on televisions from Samsung, LG, Sony, and TCL, notably bringing 55-inch Samsung QLED models below the 600 euro threshold. On September 26, El Corte Inglés launched a new round of technology and entertainment promotions covering computing, telephony, image and sound, and gaming. Featured offers included the iPhone 17 Pro (256 GB) for 1,179 euros, an HP Omen 27 G2 gaming monitor for 109 euros, a 65-inch Samsung Mini LED smart TV for 699 euros, a De’Longhi Magnifica Start coffee machine for 269.95 euros, and the video game ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’ for 39.90 euros. From October 1 to October 4, TCL joined the ‘Ahórrate el 21% IVA’ campaign at El Corte Inglés, offering promotional pricing on televisions ranging from 55 to 98 inches. This included TCL’s SQD-MiniLED technology in the C7L and C8L series, and QD-MiniLED technology in the P8L series. Specific deals included a 55-inch C7L for 749 euros and a 98-inch P8L for 1,799 euros, with a 75-inch C8L model also featuring a 150 euro cashback offer. By early October, El Corte Inglés continued its ‘Ahórrate el IVA’ (Save the VAT) promotion, extending discounts to consumer electronics and electric mobility.
