Medical school admissions in São Paulo

Overview

Medical institutions in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, have begun announcing admission processes for the 2027 academic year.

On August 17, the Faculdade de Ciências da Saúde de Barretos Dr. Paulo Prata (FACISB) released its notice for 109 vacancies in a full-time, 12-semester bachelor's program. Applications for this program are to be submitted online via the Vunesp website between August 26 and November 3, 2026, with the entrance exam scheduled for November 28, 2026.

Following this, additional programs were announced. Unifadra in Dracena is opening applications on August 25 for 40 vacancies, allowing candidates to apply via a face-to-face exam organized by Fundação Vunesp or through Enem scores from 2015–2025. Unifipa-Fameca in Catanduva is offering 114 vacancies, with an application window from August 31 to November 5, 2026, and exams scheduled for December 3 and 4, 2026.
