Mental Cruelty album and tour rollout

Overview

German symphonic deathcore band Mental Cruelty has released several singles in anticipation of their upcoming album, ‘Echoes of a Forlorn Land’, scheduled for release on October 23rd via Century Media.

In mid-September, the band released the single ‘Frost’, which features atmospheric elements inspired by Norse mythology and the concept of Fimbulvetr. This release was accompanied by an announcement of a headlining European and UK tour set for November and December.

By early October, the band released the single ‘Ride Of The Valkyries’ and the intro track ‘Dämmerbruch’. The ‘Ride Of The Valkyries’ music video, produced with Grupa13, was described by vocalist Lukas Nicolai as a ‘Viking movie’ utilizing historically accurate settings and re-enactors to depict Norse mythology.
