The third edition of the Metrópoles Catwalk fashion event concluded its five-day run at the Arena Mané Garrincha in Brasília, held from September 14 to 18, 2026. The event showcased spring/summer 2026 collections from more than 30 national brands, utilizing tropical-themed scenography designed by architect Ícaro de Castro Melo. Subsequent shows featured Lum, Mabô, and Bruno Olly Studio, alongside Naked Swimwear’s tenth-anniversary collection and Geraldo Couto’s high-fashion looks inspired by Federico Fellini’s ‘La Dolce Vita’. The final night stages of the event highlighted a mix of urban and artisanal styles. The fourth night featured labels brands such as Reptilia, George Azevedo, Rostand, Lucila, and Sau Swim, alongside the previously mentioned Geraldo Couto. The closing segments included Hills, Glowshine, Erica Rosa, Petzold 1981, Lago Beachwear, and Vitor Cunha. Notably, Notable participants included singer Negra Li participated as a model Li, who modeled for Glowshine. Other featured designers included Petzold 1981, which presented a rock-inspired aesthetic, and Vitor Cunha, which highlighted artisanal techniques like crochet, macramé, Glowshine, and embroidery. The event drew prominent figures from the Brazilian fashion industry, including Yasmin Brunet, Vivi Orth, models such as Renata Kuerten, Gianne Albertoni, Ellen Milgrau, Jhona Burjack, Raica Oliveira, and Gianne Albertoni. By integrating runway shows with music and dance, the Metrópoles Catwalk continues its objective of establishing Brasília as a central fashion hub for brands from the Distrito Federal and across Brazil.
