Preparations for the 2026 Mexican beauty pageant season began with candidates undergoing training in public speaking and runway walking. As the Miss Universe México 2026 competition progressed, the event moved from Mexico City to Los Cabos, Baja California Sur. The previous titleholder, Fátima Bosch, is expected to crown her successor following preliminary stages that included swimsuit contests. The judging panel for the upcoming Mexican final includes a diverse group of professionals, such as historian Pepe Medel, model Daniela Cossio, and content creator Aarón Mercury.
