Mexican state and federal authorities have initiated new phases of social assistance card distributions and payment cycles for various welfare programs. In the State of Mexico, the ‘Mujeres con Bienestar’ program has begun delivering cards to beneficiaries aged 18 to 59 in Zinacantepec, Almoloya de Juárez, and Temoaya. In Yucatán, the Welfare Programs Delegation has started distributing replacement cards for the ‘Pensión para Adultos Mayores’, which provides 6,400 pesos bimonthly to citizens aged 65 and older. Beneficiaries are advised to monitor phone calls or SMS messages for collection instructions. Regarding upcoming disbursements, Welfare Secretary Leticia Ramírez Amaya has detailed the staggered payment schedule for the November-December 2026 period, which marks the final bimonthly distribution of the year. From November 3 to November 27, funds will be distributed based on the first letter of beneficiaries' paternal surnames, starting with ‘A’ and concluding with ‘W’, ‘X’, ‘Y’, or ‘Z’. Notably, no deposits will occur on November 16 due to the Mexican Revolution holiday. Scheduled amounts include 6,400 pesos for senior citizens, 3,100 pesos for women aged 60 to 64 under ‘Mujeres Bienestar’, 3,300 pesos for persons with disabilities, 1,650 pesos for children of working mothers, and 6,450 pesos for ‘Sembrando Vida’ participants. Secretary Ramírez Amaya emphasized that resources are distributed directly to beneficiaries via Banco del Bienestar without intermediaries. intermediaries, noting that over 42.8 million Mexicans currently receive government social support. In Veracruz, regional delegate Ky Chincoya indicated that new incorporations for federal pension programs are expected to begin soon. Additionally, Banco del Bienestar has issued security advice regarding PIN updates to prevent fraud, noting that rumors claiming payments will be withheld if PINs are not changed are false.
