Mexico observed the anniversary of its independence through various local and national ceremonies. In Ayala, Municipal President Nayeli Mares Mérida led traditional festivities on September 15, including the ‘Grito’ to honor independence heroes, a popular fair, and a fireworks display. At the national level, the Mexican Chamber of Deputies held sessions where political figures discussed national identity and the historical context of the movement. In Mérida, Yucatán, the City Council hosted a solemn session featuring historian José Luis Vargas Aguilar, who addressed the significance of the 1810 movement in relation to modern society. Regional commemorations continued with ceremonies and parades across other states. In Sinaloa, the state government held an event at the Government Palace Plaza Cívica led by Silvia Evelyn Ward Bringas, representing Interim Governor Graciela Domínguez Nava. The ceremony included representatives from the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, as well as members of the armed forces, and featured the raising of the national flag to honor the 1821 consummation of independence. In Teapa, Mayor Miguel Angel Contreras Verdugo presided over a civic parade involving local associations, families, and educational institutions. This parade included an inclusive opening by students from the Centro de Atención Múltiple (CAM) No. 8.
