Mexican states have implemented various programs focused on mental health, maternal care, and social welfare. In Quintana Roo, the government expanded its mental health network through UNEME CISAME units and CECOSAMA community centers, providing over 10,000 consultations for psychiatry, addiction prevention, and suicide prevention. In Chiapas, authorities conducted specialized training for medical personnel and midwives to manage obstetric emergencies and improve newborn care. Subsequent developments included the opening of the HOPE project in Mexico City, which provides low-cost mental health therapy. In Sonora, a vaccination campaign against influenza, COVID-19, and pneumococcus was launched with an 87 million peso investment. Other regional efforts included social support programs for seniors and children in Hermosillo and Sinaloa, as well as budget proposals in Baja California to support caregivers for the elderly and people with disabilities. Recent efforts have expanded to include violence prevention and community well-being. In Oaxaca, the Peace Fair “Attention to the Causes” was launched in Juchitán de Zaragoza, a coordinated effort to rebuild social fabric through 23 services, including healthcare and psychological support. In Tamaulipas, authorities in El Mante are facilitating registration for the Universal Health Service to provide free medical consultations and medications to residents without social security. Additionally, in Hidalgo, local officials held a Peace Day and Health Fair involving the National Guard to promote community security and welfare.
