High school admission processes in different Mexican regions have seen significant activity regarding student enrollment and vacancy management. In the Northern Zone, officials reported a surge in applications, with over 22,500 applications received for approximately 19,800 planned places. This increase was attributed to the removal of admission exams and students returning to their studies. Despite the high demand, hundreds of unregistered applicants remain, and institutions like Conalep have explored expanding class shifts and offering virtual options through partnerships to accommodate the volume. In the Eastern Zone of the Metropolitan Valley of Mexico, admission results for the 2026 process have been released under the ‘Mi Derecho, Mi Lugar’ initiative.
