The MICHELIN Guide has unveiled its 2026 Key selection, recognizing 2,832 hotels globally across 79 destinations. This collection includes 155 Three-Key, 657 Two-Key, and 2,020 One-Key properties, featuring nearly 470 newly distinguished hotels. The MICHELIN ~~Key, established in 2024,~~ Key evaluates properties based on architecture, service, personality, and connection to their setting. In Asia, Morpheus at City of Dreams in Macau has become the first hotel in the region to receive Three MICHELIN Keys, having been promoted from Two Keys. In the Philippines, the number of recognized hotels has grown to ~~nine, with~~ nine. Ayala Land Hospitality ~~securing~~ properties secured multiple ~~honors~~ honors, including Two Keys for Lagen Island and Raffles Makati, and One Key for Pangulasian Island and Fairmont Makati. Other regional highlights include the Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai in Vietnam retaining Two Keys, the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai earning a Key, and the Malliouhana Resort in Anguilla receiving Two Keys for the second consecutive year. In the United States, the guide expanded its presence in Washington, D.C., where seven hotels earned recognition, including Two Keys for The Jefferson, Rosewood Washington DC, and The Hay-Adams. Nearby, The Inn at Little Washington, Salamander Resort and Spa, and the Ivy Hotel also received distinctions. In New Orleans, the Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, and the Windsor Court each received One Key, bringing the city’s total to nine distinguished hotels. Mexico’s presence grew to 98 recognized hotels following the addition of 12 new properties. In Quintana Roo, NIZUC Resort & Spa in Cancún earned its first MICHELIN Key, becoming the only hotel in Cancún to hold both a MICHELIN Key and a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating. Other new additions ~~in the region~~ include Casa Las Tortugas Petit Beach Hotel & Spa, La Zebra, NABOA Hotel, and Sana Tulum.
