Michi-no-Eki facilities in Japan have announced various operational changes. In late August 2026, Michi-no-Eki Shirataki scheduled a temporary closure of its shop and restaurant for equipment maintenance, though restrooms and stamp stations remained accessible during the local Anji-kun no Furusato Matsuri festival. By mid-September 2026, Kita no Michi no Eki announced modified operating hours for the period of September 18 to September 27. While most facilities, including Spa Kohaku and Kokage Cafe, maintained extended ~~hours,~~ hours from 9:00 to 21:00, operating times were reduced to 9:00 to 19:00 between September 23 and September 24. Restrooms at the facility remained available 24 hours.
