The Michigan Wolverines men’s basketball team is scheduled for several preseason exhibition matchups against various opponents. In mid-September, it was reported that the University of Houston would play Michigan in an exhibition game on October 25 as part of ‘The Battleground 2k26’ in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Additionally, Oakland University was noted to have a demanding non-conference schedule that includes a game against Michigan on November 2. By mid-October, Oregon State announced a preseason exhibition against Michigan scheduled for October 16 at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor. This matchup features Oregon State’s first-year head coach, Justin Joyner, returning to Michigan, where he served as an assistant during their 2025-2026 national championship season. Recent reports confirm that Oregon State will travel to Ann Arbor for this exhibition match.
