Following a series of lifetime-license promotions for Windows and Office products throughout mid-2026, discount trends continued into September. In mid-September, Microsoft Office 2024 Professional Plus was available via various retailers as a one-time purchase alternative to Microsoft 365 subscriptions. In certain markets, single PC licenses were priced around 486 CZK (approximately 19.99 EUR), while multi-device bundles for three computers were offered for roughly 1,215 CZK. In Australia, the software was listed for A$76, a reduction from the standard A$348 price. These perpetual licenses are tied to specific hardware and do not include cloud storage or continuous feature updates. By 17 September, significant discounts were reported in the U.S. through 27 September. A bundle featuring Microsoft Office Professional 2021 and Windows 11 Pro was priced at $32.97, compared to a regular price of approximately $418.99. Additionally, Windows 11 Pro was available individually for $9.97, down from its $199 retail price. The Pro version includes enterprise-level features such as BitLocker encryption, Azure AD integration, and Hyper-V, alongside consumer features like Copilot AI integration. By late September, retailers like StackSocial offered further lifetime license discounts. Microsoft Office 2024 Professional Plus was listed for A$71, reduced from A$356. This version is tied to a single Windows 10 or 11 PC and includes applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, but operates offline without cloud storage. Furthermore, a lifetime license for Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2019 was priced at $16.97, down from $229. However, users should note that Microsoft ended support for Office 2019 on October 14, 2025, meaning it no longer receives security updates.
