Various local government and judicial entities in Taiwan conducted charitable activities to support vulnerable populations ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival. In Tainan, the District Prosecutors Office collaborated with the Tainan Honorary Probationer Association to distribute money and daily necessities to individuals under protective supervision. Chief Prosecutor Chung Ho-hsien stated the initiative aims to support “economic rehabilitation” and help individuals reintegrate into society. In New Taipei City, district offices organized large-scale aid distributions. The Xinzhuang District Office and Xinzhuang Dizang Temple provided rice and monetary envelopes to 1,297 low-income households. Meanwhile, the Banqiao District Office worked with the Ministry of Agriculture to distribute rice to nearly 10,000 households, including elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and low-income families. Additional charitable efforts expanded across other regions. In Hualien, Xiao’s Enterprise donated 120,000 TWD to Ji’an Township to assist 100 underprivileged families. In Taipei, Guodu Motors signed an agreement with the Beitou Police Branch to provide free gym access to officers, while the Xi’an Village in the Da’an District hosted a community event combining festive celebrations with disease prevention education, such as dengue fever awareness. Furthermore, the Taichung Excellence Youth Workers Association organized a large-scale gathering for approximately 80 members and volunteers to promote social service.
