Mid‑July 2026 saw a wave of coordinated militant assaults across Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including ambushes on police convoys in Lower Dir, a vehicle‑ram attack on a Bannu police station, and a suicide‑vehicle bomb at a Tank checkpoint.
