Manufacturers such as GMKtec and Minisforum have introduced mini PCs featuring up to 192GB of RAM, utilizing the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495. These individual units allow for significant memory allocation to integrated GPUs, enabling the local execution of large-scale models that previously required more expensive hardware. At IFA 2026, manufacturers continued to expand these specialized offerings. GEEKOM showcased the A5 2027 Edition, a productivity-focused unit with up to 64GB of RAM, and demonstrated the Agent 4N, an AI cluster connecting four A9 Mega units via USB4. GMKtec unveiled the EVO-X5 Pro, a workstation using the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495 with 192GB of unified memory; notably, up to 160GB can be allocated to the integrated Radeon 8065S graphics to facilitate large language model execution without cloud reliance. Additionally, Minisforum announced the UM750 Neo, which adapts the AMD Ryzen Z1 chip, originally intended for handheld gaming, for a compact desktop form factor.
