Mining companies in British Columbia continue to report significant exploration and drilling milestones across several projects. Silver Pony Resources completed a 1,013-metre diamond-drilling program at its Silver Pony Project, finishing three holes at the Black Warrior and Old Gold targets. The holes intersected marble and argillite, showing carbonate-replacement features such as dolomitisation and manganese enrichment. While historic surface samples in the area previously returned up to 12,147 g/t silver and 10.7% copper, these results remain unverified. Core samples have been sent for assay. Taranis Resources identified a hydrothermally altered, sulfide-bearing syenite intrusive stock, named GUS, at its Thor–Silver Cup project. The company suggested the intrusive could act as an “engine” for district-scale mineralisation, noting its proximity to the Borr epithermal zone and the NI 43-101 Thor mineral resource. Goliath Resources reported significant results from its Golddigger project near Stewart, identifying 46 horizontal, stacked gold ore veins across five systems. Of 386 drill holes completed at the Surebet Discovery area, all recorded gold mineralization, with visible gold observed in 92% of holes. High-grade intercepts include 7.9 metres at 64.88 g/t in the Bonanza system and 39 metres at 34.47 g/t in the Golden Gate system. The company is executing a 50,000-metre drilling program. Kestrel Gold Inc., in partnership with Centerra Gold Inc., has collected 784 Priority 1 soil samples and 100 rock samples as part of a surface exploration program at the QCM Property. Meanwhile, Property, while Kodiak Copper is drilling to extend seven existing deposits at its MPD Copper-Gold Porphyry Project after identifying a 900m untested chargeability anomaly. New Project. Recent activity includes the commencement of new diamond drilling programs have also commenced. programs. Engineer Gold Mines Ltd. has started an infill diamond drill core sampling program at the TAG Property southwest of Atlin to address historical data gaps and generate future drill targets. Additionally, Pacific Empire Minerals Corp. has launched its 2026 diamond drilling program at the Trident copper-gold porphyry project and the adjacent Pinnacle project, targeting the Trident Main Zone and areas identified by magnetic surveys. Additionally, Phoenix Metals Corp. has received an amended exploration permit from the Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals for its Greenwood project. This permit enables the company to begin drilling priority targets within the Phoenix Target Area, supported by a 51,500-metre drill contract to test for near-surface copper-gold-silver mineralization and deeper high-grade structures.
