A woman in Monticello, Minnesota, became a viral social media sensation following her arrest for the theft of power tool batteries valued at approximately $580. While the legal matter involved a gross misdemeanor or felony theft charge, public attention focused on her booking photo. Internet users noted a striking resemblance between the woman, identified as Cyrena Anne Quast (or Serena Anne Quest), and singer Jennifer Lopez. This likeness prompted widespread social media commentary and jokes regarding her appearance. Recent reports confirm that 35-year-old Quast was arrested on August 30. Criminal filings allege she stole two double packs of power tool batteries, an act that led to her mugshot spreading rapidly across various social media platforms due to the “uncanny physical similarity” to the pop star.
