Italian theme park educational programs

Overview

Italian theme parks have announced educational initiatives for 2027 aimed at students of various school levels.

MagicLand introduced its ‘School Days 2027’ program, which is scheduled for May 12 and 13, 2027. The initiative intends to turn the park into an ‘open-air classroom’ through more than 50 didactic projects. In collaboration with law enforcement and the Italian Armed Forces, the program will cover topics such as legality, citizenship, security, health, sustainability, and STEM. An Open Day for educators and administrators is set for September 28 to discuss program details.

Mirabilandia is also preparing its 2027 curriculum under the long-running ‘Mirabilandia, un’aula senza pareti!’ (Mirabilandia, a classroom without walls) project. This program offers over 20 educational paths focused on mathematics, physics, chemistry, and technology. The curriculum utilizes park attractions, such as the Katun and iSpeed roller coasters, as case studies for analyzing physics concepts like velocity and acceleration. The initiative includes specialized tutors, scavenger hunts, and technological contests to facilitate experiential learning.
