Inspectors identified breaches of crew‑rest regulations, shortcomings in work organisation, labour‑condition issues and technical defects that must be remedied before the vessel can sail again. Shipowner managing director Roald Misje said the company will review the report and implement the required measures. In the ongoing investigation, the Swedish Accident Investigation Authority has retrieved data from the vessel’s voyage recorder. This includes navigation data, bridge audio recordings, radar data, and technical system settings. Investigator Björn Ramstedt stated there are “good hopes” that the analysis will explain the causes of the accident, specifically whether the ship failed to maintain a proper lookout or was traveling at an excessive speed.
