Ema Helena Vičar, Miss Croatia, traveled to Vietnam to participate in the Miss World competition held in Hanoi and Nha Trang. Vičar intended to use the pageant platform to promote Croatian tourism and her environmental initiative, "Blue Planet: A Purpose for Life." This project focuses on removing abandoned fishing nets from the Adriatic Sea and recycling them into sustainable fashion materials. ~~Upon her arrival~~ As part of the month-long competition involving approximately 130 contestants, Vičar is competing in ~~Vietnam, she prepared to compete across several~~ seven official categories, including Talent, Head-to-Head Challenge, Interview, Sport, and Multimedia. Success in these categories ~~for~~ is required to secure a ~~position~~ place among the top 40 contestants. The competition includes cultural events, fashion shows, and humanitarian activities, with the grand final scheduled for September 5 in Nha Trang. Under the "Beauty with a Purpose" initiative, Vičar is also contributing a portrait by artist Dimitrije Popović to a charity auction.
