Mithril Silver & Gold Copalquin project developments

Overview

Mithril Silver & Gold has reported significant developments regarding its Copalquin project in Durango, Mexico. In late July 2026, the company upgraded its Target 1 mineral resource estimate, raising indicated gold reserves to 343,000 oz and silver to 8.48 Moz. CEO John Skeet stated the upgrade provides a “practical basis for mine planning and economic evaluation.”

By mid-August 2026, Mithril filed an NI 43-101 technical report with SEDAR+ to provide updated documentation for the Copalquin project, intended to support potential capital decisions. This report included an updated mineral resource estimate for Target 1 in the Sierra Madre Occidental region, prepared by qualified persons including John Sims of Sims Resources LLC, Mithril Exploration VP James Barr, and CEO John Skeet.

On August 27, 2026, the company confirmed mineralization along approximately 550 metres of the Copalquin-Zaragoza structure. Recent drilling at Target 4 yielded high-grade silver and gold intersections, including a hole containing 11.7 metres at 456 grams per tonne silver equivalent. These results indicate grade continuity within a northwest-trending structure that may have a total strike length of 1.5 kilometres. The mineralization appears to connect several historical mining areas, such as the El Refugio mine and San Manuel workings. Mithril is currently executing an aggressive 25,000-metre drilling program across the district to test new high-priority targets and expand known zones.
