Málaga-Costa del Sol is Spain’s fourth busiest airport and serves as a major regional economic driver, supporting nearly 12,000 direct jobs and approximately 500 companies. Between January and August 2026, the airport handled nearly 20 million travelers, with peak daily activity in August averaging 100,000 users.
