A follow‑up analysis the next day broadened the concern to include loan‑originating apps that collect identity details, income records, biometric scans, device diagnostics and precise geolocation. Experts warned that such extensive profiling creates lucrative targets for cyber attackers and raises compliance issues under GDPR.
