Mohamed Salah has continued his record-breaking form at Trabzonspor, recently being named the Trendyol Süper Lig Player of the Month for September after recording four goals and two assists in four matches. His impact has extended beyond the pitch, driving commercial interest in Egypt and sparking comparisons in England regarding Liverpool’s offensive productivity following his departure. In league play, Salah led Trabzonspor to a 2-1 victory over Istanbul Başakşehir with two goals. He has since become the first foreign player at the club to score four goals in his first three starts in the Süper Lig since the 2000-2001 season. Following a 2-1 loss to Amed Sportif, Salah contributed one goal and one assist in a 5-0 win against Gençlerbirliği, accounting for 45% of the team's total goals in the first four weeks. Following a 1-0 defeat against Konyaspor, Trabzonspor secured a dominant 4-0 victory over league leaders Galatasaray, headlined by a Salah hat-trick. In the seventh week, Salah set a new Süper Lig record by recording 10 goal contributions (seven goals and three assists) in his first seven matches, surpassing the pace set by Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen. This was followed by a 3-0 away win against Samsunspor, where Salah provided an assist. On the European stage, Trabzonspor ended their long drought without a European victory by defeating KuPS Kuopio 4-2 in the UEFA Conference League opener. Salah contributed a goal and an assist, making him only the third player in history to score and provide assists across the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League, joining Cody Gakpo and Mario Götze. His performance brought his total European club goal tally to 65, equaling Erling Haaland for 11th place on the all-time scoring list. Amidst his success, reports surfaced that Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal had rejected opportunities to sign Salah on multiple occasions prior to his move to Turkey. Following a 1-0 defeat against Konyaspor, Trabzonspor secured a dominant 4-0 victory over league leaders Galatasaray in the sixth week, headlined by a Salah hat-trick and an assist for Noah Saviolo. This marked the first official match for new German head coach Thomas Reis.
