Moroccan National Security institutional activities
Overview
The General Directorate of National Security has conducted several high-profile activities at its new administrative headquarters in Rabat.
In mid-October, the directorate hosted judicial delegations from 24 countries across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. This visit coincided with an international conference titled “Justice and Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Risks,” organized by the Moroccan Court of Cassation and the Association of High Courts of Africa. Delegations inspected operational facilities, including surveillance rooms, crisis management centers, and data management hubs.
Following these international engagements, the directorate organized community visits to the National Security Museum. These visits, aimed at promoting “citizen policing,” included groups such as children with disabilities, foreign residents, and orphans. Participants viewed historical artifacts and security equipment documenting seven decades of the institution’s evolution.
