Moscow microelectronics trade with China

Overview

Moscow-based microelectronics and high-tech manufacturers participated in the 14th International Semiconductor Equipment, Materials, and Core Components Exhibition (CSEAC 2026) in Wuxi, China.

Prior to the event, Moscow Deputy Mayor Maxim Liksutov noted that trade turnover between Moscow and China grew by 30 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2026, with microelectronics exports increasing by 35 percent. The Moscow government provided financial and logistical support for a joint ‘Made in Moscow’ booth featuring six industrial companies from the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone.

During the exhibition, companies showcased innovations including photonic integrated circuits, computing modules, plasma equipment, and high-purity chemical reagents. Liksutov described the participation as a “significant step for promoting domestic technologies internationally.” Some participating firms, specifically those specializing in chemical materials, reportedly began establishing cooperation with Chinese partners to enter new markets.
