Motley Crue announced a 45th-anniversary deluxe limited edition box set for their 1981 debut album, ‘Too Fast for Love’. Scheduled for release on October 30 via BMG, the collection includes the original 1981 Leathür Records version, the 1982 Elektra Records remixed and remastered issue, and live recordings from the band’s 1982 Perkins Palace shows. The set also features demos from the band’s first studio sessions in March 1981, a replica demo cassette, a 7-inch single, a 100-page hardcover photo book, and a poster. New details reveal that the collection will include previously unreleased material, such as the demo ‘Nobody Knows What It’s Like To Be Lonely’. Other previously unreleased demos featured in the set include ‘Public Enemy #1’, ‘Stick To Your Guns’, ‘Take Me To The Top’, and ‘Tonight’. The debut album, which helped define the Los Angeles hard rock scene, achieved Platinum status in the United States and Gold status in Canada. Recent updates specify that the collection aims to reconstruct the band’s early career in the Los Angeles hard rock scene and will feature the first-ever digital availability of the previously unreleased demo ‘Nobody Knows What It’s Like To Be Lonely’. The set includes two vinyl records of the 1982 Perkins Palace live performances and a vinyl containing five studio demos from March 1981.
