Various motor racing competitions are being held in Vietnam. In early October, the Dai Nam Race Track hosted the third and fourth stages of the 2026 Vietnam Motor Racing Championship, organized by Honda Vietnam. The event featured over 40 racers across four categories and included training activities for children. Later in October, the PVOIL Vietnam Off-Road Championship commenced in Hanoi. This 19th edition of the event marked its first entry into the National Championship system, involving 88 teams and 176 athletes competing across 23 different tracks in hills, forests, and marshes. The PVOIL VOC 2026 National Off-Road Racing Championship officially opened in Dong Mo, Hanoi, running from October 30 to November 1. The competition includes categories such as Basic Pickup, Basic SUV, Advanced, and Professional (Open), with a total prize pool valued at 526 million VND. To maintain the schedule, organizers implemented parallel racing on multiple tracks, including a specialized night Adventure course covering over 150 hectares. Following a media personnel accident on October 30, the organizing committee confirmed the individual sustained minor injuries and has been discharged from the hospital. In response, the committee reviewed safety protocols and reinforced mandatory compliance for all staff and media working near the tracks.
