Motorsport activities in Saudi Arabia expanded in August 2026 with the introduction of new racing series and championships. ALTAWKILAT Motorsport announced the launch of Motor Mania GT, a new GT racing series designed to serve as an official support series for the Saudi Aramco F4 Championship. Operating under Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation regulations, the series features a multi-class grid with manufacturers including Ferrari, McLaren, Ginetta, and Radical. The inaugural season is scheduled to include events at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit and the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar. Concurrently, the 2026 Toyota Saudi Time Attack Championship commenced at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Managed by Bakhshab Motorsports in partnership with Abdul Latif Jameel Motorsports, the event features a time-attack format where winners are determined by the fastest lap times. The championship includes 11 categories, such as a dedicated Women’s Cup, and involves technical inspections and practice sessions for registered participants. In early September 2026, the championship entered its second round at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, marking the start of the second half of the three-round season. The event features 88 competitors across the 11 categories. This round follows an opening round where Mamoon Amr Al-Qabbani set a record time of 1:12.279. The final round of the season is scheduled for October 15 and 16 at the same circuit.
