Production for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming Telugu film, initially referred to by the working title NBK111, has faced delays due to an injury sustained by the actor during filming. Despite this, the production team has targeted a December 24, 2026, release to coincide with the Christmas holiday season. Following an update from Vriddhi Cinemas, the film has been officially titled ‘Dada’. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the project is described as a high-voltage gangster drama featuring Balakrishna in a rugged role. A promotional glimpse has since been unveiled, showcasing the actor in leather jackets and sunglasses to emphasize his commanding presence. The cast includes Kajal Aggarwal and Manchu Manoj, with music composed by S. Thaman. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on December 24, 2026. Separately, the Nandamuri family is expanding its presence in Telugu cinema. Mokshagna Teja, son of Nandamuri Balakrishna, is set to make his debut as a lead actor in a film written and directed by Vassishta, produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
